The Best 3 Things to do Every Morning

Would you like 3 easy steps to get yourself off to a great start … everyday? Then read on …

  1. Get Quiet.
    When you get up with the house very still, sit down for 10 to 15 minutes and think. Simply sit, with pen and paper handy, and list all the things you’d like to achieve and/or need to get done for today. Just let the thoughts pop into your head - silence is a great way to stimulate creative thinking.

    When you re-read your list you might like to prioritise from number one onwards – with one being the most important task to get done.

    Take this list with you to work … it will help you stay focussed and be more productive.

  2. Recharge your body.
    Ever seen that ad for the breakfast cereal which says "what you put in, you get out"? Well, I agree … especially when it comes to starting your day.

    Taking time to eat a healthy breakfast nourishes the body, stimulates the brain and gives you sustained energy. Sit down rather than eating on the run … or in the car … or at your desk once you get to work!

    This whole process can take as little as 15 minutes, it is time well spent and you’ll be rewarded with more creative time for the rest of your day.

  3. Kick start your heart.
    Lastly, I’d like to suggest a very pleasurable thing to do before you leave the house. Give someone you love a hug – even if it’s your pet!

    This will make you both feel terrific and that’s a great frame of mind to start your day with, don’t you think?

    Remember to do these three simple things at the start of every morning and you’ll be able to focus your mind; feed your body and bring joy to your heart!
